we condemn the irresponsible and insulting statement of Pia Cayetano in Harapan stating that she will increase the salary of nurses and teachers because they are college graduates compared to soldiers and PNP who are just a high school graduates and yet receiving high compensation.PIA CAYETANO-now that u are leading and maybe u will proclaim as one of the senator here in our country we hope that you will not discriminate those who are law enforcers(PNP&AFP) we receive message about degrading the educational background of PNP and AFP and comparing to teachers and nurses. As far as we are concern about this message, the policeman and army are professionals, they are teachers, engineers, doctors, nurses, cpa's, lawyers and degree holders and they are screened and with a rigid training that other department of the gov't doesn't have. We hope that this message is not true about them because we believe that this is not your character as public servant and trying to lessen their salary if you could only mingle/ interact to police officer and army they are hardly budgeting their salary coz its not really enough for themselves as well as their family. They are designed "to serve and protect the lives and properties". We hope that you'll clear this issues to be understand by the people who want to be one of law enforcer(PNP&AFP).
