Mayor Binay express his concern about his votes and urges his supporter to continue on watching his votes. He is now leading the ounting for Vice Presidental Race

Herbert bautista is now finally proclaimed as Mayor of Quezon City the biggest municipality in Philippines. Inquirer.net reported as follows :

MANILA, Philippines—Former actor and vice mayor Herbert Bautista was finally proclaimed the winner in the Quezon City mayoral race Tuesday morning, beating his closest rival Mike Defensor by a wide margin.

Bautista, the anointed candidate of outgoing mayor Feliciano Belmonte Jr., said the landslide win was akin to getting an early birthday present as his birthday is on Wednesday.

The Liberal Party made a clean sweep of the mayor, vice mayor and congressional seats in Quezon City with all winners in the said positions coming from Bautista’s local slate.

Winning as congressmen were Liberal Party bets Bingbong Crisologo for District 1, Winnie Castelo for District 2, Bolet Banal for District 3 and Belmonte for District 4.

The three-termer Bautista won with 497,965 votes over Defensor’s 126,246, a win perceived to be due to Belmonte’s endorsement and that of the Iglesia ni Cristo.

Erap Estrada is leading vs Aquino in Laog City , So Ilocanos still supports Estrada which is not what was shown in different survey. So this is a neck to neck battle in between Estrada and Aquino in Different Location, So what will happen to Villar which was reported spending 5 Billion Pesos.

The official time on which What time polling precincts open and close at the Elections here in the Philippines this 2010? is 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. So better be early than wait for the last hour to vote.

A report by ABS- CBN in last minute, there are some defective PCOS that is being replaced. The question is how they control all this replaced PCOS ?

MANILA, Philippines -- The defective Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) machine in Caloocan City has already been replaced.

In a report by ABS-CBN’s Niko Baua, the PCOS machine which malfunctioned during tests in Baesa High School, Caloocan was has been substituted.

Teachers assigned in the school earlier said that the defective PCOS machine failed to function properly after the slot for the PCOS compact flash card was damaged.

Members of the Board of Election Inspectors complained that a poll technician assigned by Smartmatic-TIM failed to fix the problem.

Meanwhile, members of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) are making the rounds in Caloocan City to deliver ballots.

As of posting time, Comelec has already completed the deliveries in District 1 and is now on its way to District 2.

The commission expects to finish the delivery of ballots before the precincts open on Monday morning.

This is a day to remember, a day where Philippine have started moving into technology. We might see some demonstrations later on but at least we have started to move from traditional way o voting. In just a few days after the Philippine 2010 election, Comelec might be able to announce the winner limiting the chance of having a fraudulent results. COTABATO, Philippines - Two people were killed and 12 wounded when a hand grenade was thrown inside a mosque in the troubled southern Philippines on Sunday, a day ahead of national elections, the military said.

The attack occurred as people were inside the mosque in the town of Pikit for evening prayers, according to a regional military spokesman who asked not to be named.

The spokesman said two people had been confirmed killed, and 12 others wounded.
